Below are pictures of where my rats live when they are not out having free play.
This is where Buck, Peanut and Dean live.
This cage has a slide out tray on the bottom where I put the litter in. It also has a hole that goes to a bedding area and a hole that goes to the cage on top where they like to hang out and cuddle.
I have the same cage down stairs but a 2 plex which I will use when I have more boys.
Home to Mia, Mimi, Minnie, Berka, Oreo, Dora, and Taput.
This cage is the same as the boys but a 4 plex which has a tunnel system to each cage. The girls love to sleep in the tunnel area and run threw each unit playing.
You can see the blue color of rags in the tunnel system in the front of the cages. This is a really neat cage but the only thing I don't like about it is the wood chips get thrown out of the cages because the trays are short.
Maternity ward
This is where my pregnant rats live just before they deliver till their babies are around 14 days old or so then they get transfered to the bigger cage.
This is just a 15 or 20 gal fish tank.
This is a picture of my girl Oreo and her babies at day 13. She looks like she ready to go boxing!! LoL!
